Katherine Langford joins the MCU

Avengers 4 is has become a mine of speculations and fan theories. From questionable set photos, cast announcement and absolutely no indication from the studio of where or when the next film might be heading to, you can’t blame the fans for filing the gaps. The newest inclusion to this is the casting of “13 reasons why” star Katherine Langford who has been cast in an unknown role. So what could she be possibly playing?

1. Kate Bishop

The first and most role that most people are betting on is Kate Bishop. In the comics, she is the student of Hawkeye, and with a lot of cast expected to hang their boots for fresher faces, Jeremy Renner might be hanging his bow for her to succeed him.

2. Lila Barton

This choice is fueled by rumors that the film might be happening five years into the future after the Thanos snap. Lila is the daughter of hawk eye and she might be brought to show the effects the snap takes on his family.

3. Miss America

Away from Hawkeye, there is also chances that the young Avengers might make a show and who better to show up that America Chavez. Chris Evans tweeted about his conclusion of the Steve Rogers role and marvel might have sights on Katherine to become the new captain America, at least for the young avengers.

4. Kamala khan

This one is more of a fan theory but Langford could be playing Kamala Khan. She is an inhuman already introduced in agents of shield.

Feige did hint at her being in the big screen while talking to the BBC a while back

"Captain Marvel’s shooting right now with Brie Larson. Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, is definitely sort of in the works. We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world."

The casting of Katherine is a sure favorite among fans and whether it will be one of these characters or one we can’t foresee for now, she will be a delight nonetheless.

Till next time, cheers.
